Annual Financial Statements (AFS) CoE Analyst

Deloitte South Africa is hiring an Annual Financial Statements (AFS) Centre of Excellence Analyst in Midrand to support onsite audit teams with AFS tie-in, financial statement casting, IFRS checklists and selected regulatory testing for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities:
– Perform selected audit procedures supporting high-quality audits and compliance with accounting standards
– Support onsite audit teams on delivery quality and professional standards
– Use audit software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
– Apply accounting and auditing standards to meet regulatory requirements
– Communicate findings and help resolve identified matters with onsite teams

Requirements:
– BCom Accounting (preferred) or undergraduate qualification specialising in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
– Analyst Level 1: 12 months’ experience in an audit or accounting role
– Delivery Centre experience advantageous
– Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and client-service orientation
