HR Services Partner

Glencore is hiring an HR Services Partner for its EMEA HR Hub in Johannesburg. The hub runs HR administration for several countries on a global shared-services model, using standard processes, Workday and the Servicely case tool. It is a good fit for an HR professional who wants hands-on exposure to international HR operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver HR services across the employee lifecycle for multiple countries, following global processes, checklists and knowledge articles
• Manage and prioritise requests in Servicely and resolve them within agreed SLAs
• Run onboarding and offboarding end to end, including Workday hires and terminations, pre-employment documents and coordination with IT and Office Services
• Process intercompany transfers and other employee lifecycle changes in Workday in line with payroll deadlines
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments and termination agreements from approved templates, and escalate non-standard matters
• Run monthly and quarterly Workday reports, data validations and reconciliations to keep employee data accurate
• Contribute to process simplification, automation and better use of Workday and Servicely

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a shared services centre, global business services or regional support hub
• Experience supporting several countries or business units against SLAs in a high-volume, transactional environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field
• Experience with HR information systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HCM
• Experience with ticketing or case-management tools such as ServiceNow
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
