Stefanutti Stocks Western Cape, part of one of South Africa’s major construction groups, is looking for experienced Site Agents (Civils) for permanent roles. You will run civil engineering sites across a range of projects, some in remote locations, so you need to be willing to travel and to lead without close supervision.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and implement project programmes
- Produce accurate cost reports and forecasts
- Handle full site administration and record keeping
- Oversee setting out and surveying
- Implement and maintain SHEQ protocols
- Lead, mentor and manage site staff
- Coordinate construction activities and material logistics
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in civils construction, with a record of leading large projects
- SACPCMP professional registration (not candidate)
- Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, technical drawings, setting out, levelling and surveying
- Cost-control, SHEQ legislation and basic industrial relations skills
- Willingness to work in remote locations and/or relocate to Cape Town
