Strategy Manager (Banking & Insurance)

Accenture Reinvention Services – Financial Services is hiring a Strategy Manager (senior level) in Midrand to help Banking, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management clients reinvent their businesses across South Africa and broader Africa/MEA markets. The role leads integrated engagements combining strategy, technology, data, AI and experience.

Key responsibilities:

– Lead end-to-end reinvention-led strategy and transformation engagements

– Design future-ready business and operating models; define value cases, benefits realisation and reinvention roadmaps

– Deliver AI-enabled, GenAI-driven and experience-led transformations

– Support business development, proposals and client pursuits; contribute industry points of view

– Lead, coach and develop consulting teams in inclusive, high-performance ways of working

Requirements:

– 7+ years’ consulting or strategy experience with Financial Services domain expertise

– Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management and storytelling skills

– Understanding of Technology, Data, AI and GenAI

– Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Business Science, Engineering or equivalent)

– Preferred: sales/proposal experience and Africa or emerging-market exposure
