OUTsurance Broker (Willowbridge)

OUTsurance is hiring an OUTsurance Broker for its Willowbridge (Cape Town) area under its tied-agent broker model. You will build and grow a short-term insurance book by selling personal and commercial lines, prospecting and canvassing for new business, and reporting to the Broker Regional Manager. The package includes a fuel card, laptop and cellphone, plus a 6-week training programme.

Key responsibilities:

Grow and develop a business insurance portfolio by building a short-term insurance book
Prospect, cold call and canvass for new personal and commercial lines business
Build and manage client relationships and open doors with new prospects
Work independently and with the wider commercial and sales support teams
Present solutions and negotiate confidently with clients
Requirements:

Matric / National Senior Certificate
Your own reliable vehicle and a valid code B driver’s licence
3 years’ face-to-face external sales experience
Experience in lead generation, cold calling and relationship management
If you have previously been a FAIS representative: FAIS credits / full insurance qualifications and RE5 (depending on DOFA)
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, business acumen and resilience
